This mark is a result of past logos I’ve created for myself. Let’s explore. Pink: For as long as I can remember, it’s dominated my wardrobe and with 2 little girls, it now dominates my entire house. Two shades: My last logo was type only. Casa was one shade. Acosta was another. A was split between the two. Five sides: My family: myself, my wife and 3 kid (apologies to my dog).

Believe it or not, in 2006, this somewhat offensive mark was published in Logo Lounge 3: 2,000 International Identities by Leading Designers. I’m not one to toot my own horn, but this was a big deal to a young designer. The publication is filled with approximately 2000 logos chosen internationally.
The was a proposed logo for New City Kids, an organization dedicated to providing opportunities for at-risk, inner city teens with a focus on education and music.
Pur2o is in the business of water purification, saving the planet one plastic bottle at a time. I support their mission 100%. And with one of their systems installed in my house, I now have the best tasting coffee on the block.
