Mienrado Acosta

Experience & Visual Designer

Mienrado Acosta

My name is Mienrado, but you can call me Min. I am a father of three, husband (to one), dog-lover, people-lover, designer, and musician. I’m a self-taught, self-starting designer driven by curiosity and a passion for simplicity. Early on, I understood the difference behind pretty design and productive design. I’ve nurtured those ideas and carried them with me throughout my career.

The year 2020 marks my 20 years of creating (for a living) and I've gained extensive experience across many industries, mediums, trends and techniques. Each project tells a unique story, but there are core design principles at play. This craft of contrast, proportion, balance and hierarchy has guided me naturally from print layout to product design, touching everything in between.

Consultant

2000 - Present

Design & Creative Consulting

Partnering with agencies, small organizations, and individuals is significant to my growth as a creative individual as it allows me the opportunity to follow a visionary path from start to finish, completing aspects that would otherwise be delegated to other teams in a formal setting. As my consulting time is limited, I am selective in the projects I take on, ensuring that each is productive in benefiting my learning process. This collection of work has covered multiple mediums within video, branding, web, product and print design.
